The job consisted of removing a normal inset gas fire and fireplace.
Enlarging the fireplace opening and fitting a new throat lintel. Installing a 316L stainless steel flue liner and stovax riva cassette. We also installed a honed granite slabbed hearth and honed granite slips behind the fire to help protect the plasterwork.
A log store was also built to house the timber fuel.
